Dns updating slow ungdoms line dating

- I am unable to test behaviour with bigpond / telstra home internet as I only have access to their mobile network. If you recently changed the DNS servers for your domain (changing registrars or DNS hosting in the last few days) flushing does not prevent stale answers if old servers are still sending them. The Name Servers were updated to the correct address at 9.23pm on December 26th and Telstra's NS cache hasn't expired or reflected the change yet.Does anyone know how long their caching servers take to refresh?Because I override the search domain '.' in /etc/resolv.conf, also meet 'unknown host google.com' issue occasionally. @huahuiyang We recently faced a similar TCP connection issue and it turned out to be an issue caused by LRO on the NICs.

@imleon yeah, I prefer to that dns server maybe in high pressure state.Windows update catalogue consistantly fails to give me valid download links, and in the windows update utility, there is no indication of the speed. From observation, it seems to have been a slight improvement, but as the update tool has no speed indicator, it's difficult to confirm.I know people who have seen better download speeds using Google's DNS, but I'm keen not to change my DNS as my ISP provides support for DNS issues. If anybody can shed some light on any possible alternative causes for the slow download, I would be grateful for any other avenues of investigation I might follow. I did try this, but the result was difficult to gauge.
